I'm Rachel, welcome to my Etsy shop, thanks for visiting!

I first learnt to weave while studying textiles at college, but then let it take a back seat while I focused on becoming an Art teacher. After a decade in education, I decided I wanted to spend a bit more time focusing on my own craft, revisited my loom and picked up weaving again. I now spend my time in my studio (7b) creating woven items, wall hangings and cushions (and occasionally playing around with embroidery and print!)

I love exploring different colour combinations and textures to create original designs. I try to use a wide range of different yarns and wools within my designs, and source my yarns from independent small businesses as much as possible.
